Sarah joined The Jackson Laboratory in 2022 as part of the Rare Disease Translational Center (RDTC), where she manages a portfolio of projects focused on rare neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders including Huntington’s Disease, Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency, Charcot-Marie Tooth Disease, and Cacna1a disorders. Her work bridges cutting-edge research and therapeutic development, with a strong emphasis on translational impact.
Sarah’s journey in neuroscience began in Marseille, France, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She then pursued a master’s in neuropsychopharmacology at the University of Bordeaux, where she studied the ontogenesis of episodic memory. Driven by a deep interest in the mechanisms of cognitive decline, she completed her Ph.D. in Québec City, focusing on neuroinflammation and its role in cognitive decline associated with cerebral microangiopathies.
